Except for satisfying the course work in residence and the state-mandated American History and American Government requirements, credit earned by examination is equivalent to credit earned by taking the course and may be used to satisfy bachelor´s degree requirements as defined in the catalog under "Degree Requirements." CLEP/AP test and score requirements are subject to change without notice.
Extensive advisement opportunities for Juniors and Seniors are also available through the Offices of Student Advising and Retention Services (STARS). Lamar University students may qualify for college credit and/or advanced standing through optional testing programs.
Students may qualify for credit through the College Level Examination Program (CLEP), the Advanced Placement Examinations (AP) or the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Program.
If examinee has not completed the essay portion within this time period, examinee will have to retake the multiple choice section of the test.
