Landon Mackenzie is a senior Canadian artist who has exhibited nationally as well as in Europe, Asia and the United States.
She is widely admired for her large-format paintings that are layered over time with symbolic gestures referencing her research and personal experiences with geography, history, anatomy and geometry.
Her intuitive use of colour, mark-making and process are defining characteristics of her practice.
Works on paper are an integral part of Mackenzie’s oeuvre.Shelagh Keeley lives and works in Toronto after living twenty-two years in New York City and Paris.Keeley’s recent projects have been presented by Mo MA Library and Archives, New York (2015); Vancouver Art Gallery (2015); The Power Plant, Toronto (2014); Prefix Institute of Contemporary Art, Toronto (2015) and Ryerson Image Center, Toronto (2013).Lead Faculty member, Banff Artist in Residence Program (2016).
